For small businesses

A website audit to decide what to improve first

Your website introduces your business before the first conversation. Argos checks one public page and gathers technical findings to help your team or agency set priorities.

Get started

A page diagnosis, not a revenue forecast.

What the audit can measure

Search visibility signals

Page title, description, canonical tag, and heading structure.

Loading performance

Scores and loading metrics from Lighthouse and a browser when the page is accessible.

Technical trust signals

HTTPS, redirects, and security headers visible from outside.

Detectable accessibility

Automated checks and a Lighthouse score; real usage requires human review.

What you can do with it

Scope the work

Share specific findings with your agency or team instead of a vague optimization request.

Prioritize fixes

Start with issues shown in the report, then check their effect against your own metrics.

Support trust

Spot technical signals that may hinder navigation or credibility, without promising more leads.

Illustrative example

A service page worth reviewing

If a service page has a vague title, a heavy image, and no security policy, the report may surface those findings. Your team then decides what to change and checks the outcome.

Three simple steps

  1. Choose a page

Paste the address of a public page that matters to your business.

  2. Read the findings

Argos runs its checks and prepares a private report, available through a link.

  3. Decide what to fix

Review the findings and priorities, then validate the changes that make sense.

Understand the scope

  • The audit covers the submitted URL, not every page on your site or your overall search ranking.
  • Argos does not observe your sales, form submissions, or conversion data.
  • Some checks may be unavailable when a page blocks bots; automated results do not replace a human audit.

When should you choose Argos?

What does Argos check on a page, and what are its limits?

Argos brings together the HTTP response, headers, HTML tags, browser measurements and available analysis services. Findings are grouped into performance, security, SEO and accessibility. It examines one public URL: it does not crawl the whole site, test signed-in areas or certify security or accessibility. Check coverage and unavailable modules before drawing conclusions.

ArgosGet an initial cross-disciplinary diagnosis and actions to discuss with your provider: HTML, HTTP, TLS, browser and Lighthouse signals when available.Argos uses its own score weights. Its score cannot be compared directly with Lighthouse and does not represent real visits.
PageSpeed InsightsExamine mobile and desktop performance using Lighthouse diagnostics and CrUX usage data when available.Field data may be missing or apply to the origin instead of the page. Also review user journeys and server configuration.
LighthouseInvestigate performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO diagnostics, then repeat measurements under controlled conditions.Lab measurements vary and automated checks cannot validate real user journeys alone.

How do you turn a report into a correction order?

  1. First confirm that each finding applies: the analyzed page, evidence, completed module, context and intended behavior.
  2. Address blocked journeys and confirmed risks, then high-impact fixes that require little effort. Assign an owner and a validation criterion to each action.
  3. Analyze the same URL again under comparable conditions, then check the journey manually. A better score alone does not prove more sales or leads.

For a small business: start with the service page leading to a quote request. Check keyboard access and actual form submission, then address SEO tags and loading. Argos provides technical signals; it does not confirm delivery of a quote request or assess sales copy.

Start with an important page

Choose your home page or a service page, then use the findings as a starting point for a decision.

Only one public URL is analyzed. The report stays private and unindexed.
